The Canopy Hood, often referred to as a laboratory chimney, is designed to remove heat, steam, and non-toxic fumes from open vessels or equipment. Unlike spot extractors, canopy hoods are fixed installations with **higher suction capacity**, making them suitable for applications involving hot plates, autoclaves, or wash stations.
While they do not offer flexibility in positioning, they provide broad coverage over work areas and are especially effective for capturing rising vapors. These hoods are typically constructed using FRP-PP (Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene), Powder-coated Galvanized Iron (GI), or Stainless Steel (SS)—each selected based on the working environment and chemical exposure.
Material of Construction: FRP-PP / Powder-coated GI / Stainless Steel
